Dr. Cory Fortson, DDS
Dr. Cory Fortson, DDS embarked on his educational journey by attaining a BS in Nutritional Science from Michigan State University. A 2014 graduate of The University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, Dr. Fortson takes pride in continuing his family legacy as a third-generation dentist, delivering exceptional dental care to the Lathrup Village community.
Driven by a commitment to excellence and ongoing advancement, Dr. Fortson has pursued extensive continuing education, focusing on orthodontics (clear aligners), endodontics (root canal therapy), and cosmetic dentistry. He has also completed advanced Implant Training for All on 4 dental implants, training under the guidance of Prosthodontist-Surgeon, Dr. Albert Wesley.
Dr. Fortson prioritizes creating a welcoming environment for his patients while rejuvenating their smiles. His aim is to alleviate the anxiety often associated with dental visits by addressing all dental needs with the latest painless treatment options, ensuring a beautiful smile.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Fortson enjoys cherished moments with his wife and two sons, as well as pursuing outdoor activities like snowboarding, golfing, and mountain biking. Deeply committed to community service, he actively participates in various professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, and the Global Dental Implant Academy.
